One Hour Symposium with a complimentary Cocktail.

Ray Buhen and the Legendary Tiki-Ti

In 1961, Ray Buhen opened a little Tiki bar in an unassuming part of Los Angeles. For over sixty years, Buhen’s Tiki-Ti has consistently won accolades and life-long adoration as one of the best, most beloved Tiki bars in the world, and for good reason. Spend a fascinating hour with podcaster, historian and avid supporter of the Buhen family, Adrian Eustaquio, as he presents the story of Roman Realista Buhion (better known as Ray Buhen) — the famous tropical mixologist and founder of the small, but mighty, Tiki-Ti. See historical photos from the Buhen family’s personal archives and hear stories directly from Ray’s son and grandson, Mike Buhen, Sr. and Mike Buhen Jr., while Adrian walks you through the timeline and legacy of Ray Buhen and the Tiki-Ti. At the end of this fascinating symposium, you’ll understand the Tiki-Ti’s influence of pop culture, as well as some of the Tiki bars that have opened in the last decade. You’ll also get to see video footage of Ray Buhen in his element, and you might even walk away with a classic souvenir from his legendary bar! Included with this seminar will be a unique cocktail inspired by the Tiki-Ti.
